What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials, Google sign-in identifier) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Career data (resume files and parsed content, skills, work history, LinkedIn profile URL, job preferences, saved jobs, application tracker entries, generated resumes and cover letters) — to provide matching, AI generation and tracking. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (feature usage, AI action counts, log data, device identifiers, IP address) — for security, fraud prevention, plan limits and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing preferences — only where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

AI processing

Resume and job-posting text you submit is sent to our AI model providers to generate scores, documents and prep material. We do not sell your data and we do not permit it to be used to train third-party public models.

Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors: cloud hosting and database, AI model providers, email and support tooling, analytics.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting providers.
• Authorities, where required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States and the EEA. Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Retention

We keep your account and career data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months after closure to handle disputes and legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Billing records are retained as long as tax law requires. You can delete resumes, jobs and documents in-app at any time.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the UK/EU GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Email support@arthlogic.ai and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your local supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls so users can only reach their own records, and least-privilege administrative access.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate checkout. Any analytics cookies are limited to aggregate product usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though essential cookies are required to sign in.
